How to register
- Click the Programme tab, open any connAction session and click the registration button.
- Log in with your ESR MyUserArea credentials or create a new account during the sign-up process.
- You are now registered for connAction and can attend all sessions.
How to watch a session
- Simply visit the connAction programme page, open the desired session once it has started and you will see the live stream on top.
- Once a session has ended the on-demand recording will appear on the session page after 2-4 hours.

Programme
The Meeting ‘connAction at ECR 2024’, Vienna, Austria, 29/02/2024-02/03/2024 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 10.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she spent on the educational activity.
The Österreichische Ärztekammer (Austrian Medical Chamber) has granted a maximum of 10.5 DFP (Diplom-Fortbildungs-Programm der Österreichischen Akademie der Ärzte) credits for connAction.
USA & Canada
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Worldwide
CME points claimed at the connAction event are accepted by the majority of national CME authorities worldwide, where CME is mandatory for physicians. Please consult your national jurisdiction for the maximum number of CME points that will be approved following your attendance at connAction.
How to collect CME credits
- Attend the event online (live and/or on-demand) during February 29 – March 2, 2024. On-demand attendance after this period will not grant the right to collect CME credits.
- Fill out the combined session/event evaluation which will be available under ‘My Evaluation’* from March 2, 11:00 CET until March 9, 23:59 CET.
- Once you have completed the evaluation the CME certificate can be found under ‘My Certificates’* (this might take up to five minutes)
* ‘My Evaluation’ and ‘My Certificates’ can be accessed via the main menu when logged in.
Confirmation of Attendance
This document confirms online attendance during ‘connAction at ECR 2024’ without listing CME credits.
- Available to every participant who attended the event during February 29 -March 2, 2024.
- Your Confirmation of Attendance is available from March 2, 2024 in the ‘My Certificates’ section.
CME Confirmation
This document confirms that you have been awarded 10.5 CME credits. There is one confirmation for the entire event, not for single sessions.
- Your CME Confirmation is available from March 2, 2024 in the ‘My Certificates’ section.
- Your CME Confirmation is available for download until December 31, 2026.
Detailed information
The printout of your CME Confirmation should be submitted to your national jurisdiction (usually responsible for accreditation) for approval of your CME credits. Please note that the CME Confirmation will be issued only to the participant. It will not be supplied to any accreditation agency or other organization.
