ESOR FOUNDATION COURSES 2021
This course is aimed at residents in their 4th and 5th year of training in radiology and recently board-certified radiologists interested in Interventional Radiology. It is strictly adhered to Level II of the European Training Curriculum and it aims at providing fundamentals of Interventional Radiology, including non-invasive imaging for treatment decision and planning, knowledge of IR infrastructure and devices and the importance of radiation protection for both patients and interventional staff. The course includes six topics consisting of 40 minutes of theory and case presentations followed by a live Q&A section after each session for interaction with the faculty members.
An application for this online event has been made to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for CME accreditation. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.eu. CME credits are only available when participating in the actual live streaming and after completion of an online evaluation form. No CME credits are available when watching on demand.
