Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) imaging has become a mainstay in the modern clinic. When used effectively, they can be a valuable tool in helping clinicians make a diagnosis and strengthen diagnostic confidence.
The BioAcoustic imaging technology of the ACUSON Sequoia system improves CEUS bubble longevity. With the ACUSON Sequoia system, the view time of contrast agents is significantly longer, allowing clinicians more time to scan for additional incidental lesions during their examinations.
The ACUSON Sequoia Ultrasound system was also developed with a new unique Deep Abdominal Transducer (DAX) that is designed to help with the diagnosis and treatment of obese patients. The DAX transducer provides a 30% improvement1 in penetration for imaging obese patients and improves diagnostic confidence.
