This session discusses the implementation of the quality and safety pillar of the European Commission Strategic Agenda for Medical Ionising Radiation Applications (SAMIRA Action Plan). It provides updates on results and recommendations from recently concluded and ongoing European projects of the ESR and EIBIR as well as their implementation strategies to ensure wide adoption by EU member states.
