This session is intended to refresh the attendees' memories of their statistics courses during training and expand on some concepts regularly found in the scientific literature. Using examples from published literature, the session aims to increase attendees' statistical literacy, helping them to more critically appraise published research, better understand the statistical methods used, and identify some commonly encountered issues.
