This session intends to highlight that writing a radiological report is central to our work as radiologists. Yet, we get relatively little training on how to report musculoskeletal and other studies. We generally pick this up from our peers, but such peer support may not necessarily be available. Many different ways of writing a report exist. Based on thirty years of reporting musculoskeletal studies, this workshop will address what is considered to be a good musculoskeletal report. Whether writing structured reports or prose reports, some basic tenets of reporting apply to both.
