Tuberculosis

ESOR Special Focus Series

ONLINE | April 13 -14, 2026

What to expect

Designed for senior residents, board-certified radiologists, and fellows interested in advanced TB imaging, this intensive two-day course focuses on effective imaging methods for the most common sites of tuberculosis—lung, extra-pulmonary areas such as the central nervous system, abdomen, and lymph nodes. The curriculum places special emphasis on both technical strategies and their clinical significance.

Participants will learn about state-of-the-art cross-sectional imaging techniques for identifying, characterizing, staging, and monitoring lesions, including discussion of radiological-pathological correlations. The programme also covers key differential diagnoses. European experts lead high-quality teaching sessions, combining lectures with hands-on workshops and interactive case reviews.

Presenting a new modality, several lectures will include both a radiologist and an infectious disease physician, to give a fresh perspective on the topic.
