COURSE INFORMATION

Through the Special Focus Series initiative, ESOR offers specialised courses on timely and relevant topics in radiology.

Across four focused webinars, this course will examine the principles of learning and memory, and introduce strategies to improve teaching and assessment in radiology. You will learn to engage learners through storytelling, design fair and effective multiple-choice questions, and understand the potential and limits of artificial intelligence in assessment. By the end of the course, you will be ready to apply these approaches to enhance your everyday teaching and evaluation.

  • Apply storytelling techniques to enhance engagement and knowledge retention in radiology teaching
  • Differentiate between well-constructed and poorly constructed multiple-choice questions
  • Design fair, valid and reliable multiple-choice questions for radiology education and assessment
  • Evaluate the potential and limitations of artificial intelligence in generating multipleresponse questions
  • Integrate evidence-based educational strategies into daily teaching and assessment practice in radiology
