    COURSE INFORMATION

    This course aims to provide comprehensive insights into the fundamentals and advanced applications of cardiac imaging techniques, focusing on ischemic heart disease, tissue characterization, and detection of pathological substrates.
    This course addresses the need for radiologists and cardiologists to enhance their knowledge and skills in cardiovascular imaging, particularly in the context of evolving diagnostic and post-surgical assessment techniques.

     

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    • To understand the anatomic assessment of coronary artery disease (CAD) through imaging.
    • To explore functional approaches to CAD and post-surgical imaging considerations.
    • To recognize the role of imaging in detecting and characterizing pathological substrates in the heart.
    • To discuss the application of cardiac imaging in evaluating arrhythmogenic substrates of cardiac disease.
