Description
The initial idea and application of interventional radiology in its early years was to open up obstructed or occluded vessels. Through further development of this subspecialty, techniques to close vessels have become of similar value and relevance. The acute coiling or embolization of bleeding vessels, the therapeutic embolization of tumors and the closure of aneurysm and pseudoanerysm currently represents core-techniques in interventional radiology. In this Simulator Flashlight, Giovanni Torsello will perform various embolization cases on the simulator. Be thrilled by what’s possible!
