COURSE INFORMATION

This course is intended for senior residents, board-certified radiologists, and fellows interested in Head & Neck MR Imaging. The course will be a half-day intensive program that will include cutting-edge lectures and case presentations. It is strictly adhered to Level II of the European Training Curriculum. The topics covered reflect the variety and diversity of the anatomical structures and related functions that comprise the Head and Neck.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • To review the role of various imaging modalities and revise the imaging anatomy of the oral cavity and paranasal sinuses.
  • To understand the key imaging features and the differential diagnosis of orbital masses and temporal bone lesions
  • To review the key imaging features and of the most common traumatic lesions and to understand their impact on patient management
  • To learn about the key imaging features of the most common lesions causing sensorineural hearing loss
