IND 19 - How Whole-Body Ultra-High Field MRI can change Planet Radiology?

Designing a Whole-Body Ultra-High Field (UHF) MRI presents several challenges when used in a clinical environment. By combining state-of-the-art MRI technologies and Artificial Intelligence tools, UMR Jupiter 5T makes Whole-Body UHF MRI feasible in clinical routine and workflow. The system performance, technical options and tools, as well as the out-of-the-box and ever-developing whole-body application pool, make UMR Jupiter 5T ready for clinical diagnostics will be discussed by Yongquan Ye.

The impact of brain UHF MRI can be measured by the ever-growing number of scientific and clinical papers. However, it has faced huge challenges to be used on other body parts like the spine, abdomen, pelvis, or heart. In his presentation, Antonio Luna will present clinical cases from the UMR Jupiter 5T that have changed patient handling.

Creating a Whole-Body UHF MRI is the initial step towards introducing more sensitive diagnostic tools to the radiology community. However, this technology should be able to provide unique information to be widely adopted. The focus of this panel discussion will be on the different topics that will have the greatest impact from the Whole-Body UHF MRI.
