Covering key topics such as energy consumption, waste management, contrast agents, and certification frameworks, the sessions aim to provide practical insights and foster a culture of environmental responsibility in radiology.
Sustainability in healthcare is an urgent global priority. This introductory course sets the foundation for understanding the principles and importance of sustainable practices in radiology.
This session introduces key concepts of sustainability in radiology, focusing on global challenges, the role of healthcare in carbon emissions, and actionable steps radiologists and radiographers can take to reduce their environmental impact.
