COURSE INFORMATION
The ESOR Foundation Courses are a series of online courses aimed at residents in their 4th and 5th year of training in radiology and recently board-certified radiologists, but suitable for anyone who wishes to refresh their fundamentals as well. Through a wide range of topics, this series covers all of the bases and sets you up for clinical and academical success.
This course covers key neonatal and paediatric imaging topics, from bowel obstruction algorithms and essential ultrasound techniques to MRI assessment of brain injury, orbital abnormalities, and skull lesions. Participants will learn to apply optimized imaging protocols, recognize characteristic findings, and improve diagnostic accuracy across foetal, neonatal, and paediatric practice.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Apply systematic imaging approaches and optimized protocols for evaluating foetal, neonatal, and paediatric conditions across modalities.
- Recognize characteristic imaging findings and differentiate normal from pathological appearances in the brain, abdomen, and head and neck.
- Correlate imaging features with underlying anatomy and pathology to guide accurate diagnosis and clinical management.
