Excellent work @ Erasmus MC - Pierluigi Ciet. Nice demonstration on the need for dynamic imaging and not just full in and expiration.

Dear professor Alexopoulou. Thank you for this excellent lecture! How much will the window/level settings influence the measurements of the tracheal (or bronchial) lumen on CT? Do you perform the measurements with standard window/level settings or any magnification? Kind regards :)

Dear Dr. Ording Muller thank you for your kind words and questions. We perform all measurements on the lung parenchyma window/level setting. The demarcation of the tracheal and bronchial lumen is the most accurate in these settings.  We magnify the image as desired in order to make the appropriate measurements. Window/level setting and magnification level should be the same in inspiratory and expiratory phases. Do not hesitate to contact me for any further clarifications.
